UGLY NEW CUTE was born during the winter of 2020, while facing the conditioning and from stillness building the desire from within, to create. UGLY NEW CUTE stands for embracing oneself completely with all the flaws and imperfections. 

We believe that every little thing is perfect, as it is in the present and moves from perfection to perfection. Even you are perfect! We oftentimes don’t know how to deal with our imperfections and instead of embracing it, we try to erase those parts of ourselves, the parts from which greater perfection is born.

 Founder and CEO Varusa Misidjan was born in February 1995 in Moengo, Surinam and moved to the Netherlands at the age of 9. She started modelling as a teenager and always felt the desire to creatively express herself. 

Looking for the purpose of creation she pursuits different ways of expression which has led her to do and create UGLY NEW CUTE. She created a product that energetically heals, embodies and protects the body in the form of beaded crystals and gemstones. Her work can be described as Jewel-Lingerie.
